Our project, which also serves security of supply and environmental protection functions and is classified as a project of special significance for the national economy, has reached an important milestone. We considered this phase of the development project a great challenge as this was one of the most spectacular phases and it was among those requiring the most technical expertise; therefore, we are pleased to announce that the construction of the flue stack intended to remove the flue gases generated in the biomass-fired heating plant with a capacity of 5 MW + 2x20 MW has been completed.
The structure was constructed as a result of joint and cooperative work with the company responsible for manufacturing and installation, Fuligo Kft. As part of the planning and implementation of the engineering, electrical, and control technology aspects of the complete heating plant, the implementation of the flue stack was performed by Kraftszer Kft.
The spectacular structure is equipped with 4 pieces of uninterruptible hazard lights, in accordance with the provisions of IACO Annex 14. Noise dampeners are also going to be connected to the stack, which will ensure that the noise pollution generated remains below the acceptable values, specifically 75 dB at the top of the stack.
The tasks still before our experts carrying out this large-scale development project include the mounting and securing of a model KAL 1000 and a model 1660 flue gas fan on their respective foundations, the manufacturing and on-site installation of 2 noise dampeners, the manufacturing and installation of 4 connecting elements, as well as the preparation of the full documentation, the performance of a stack inspection, and obtaining the relevant licences before the project is concluded.
The system as a whole is expected to be completed by the end of July.
