We are performing piping, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation work at Huntsman Corporation Performance Production's expanding manufacturing plant in Pétfürdő, within the framework of a new capacity expansion project based on environmentally friendly technology.
Huntsman Corporation's Performance Products division is expanding its Petfürdő manufacturing plant with a multi-million dollar investment to meet the surge in demand for its amine and polyurethane catalysts in recent years. The special JEFFCAT(r) amines, for which demand is increasing, are used to make foams for car seats and mattresses, for example, but also to help produce energy-efficient spray foam insulation for buildings. Huntsman's new generation of innovative products supports industry in reducing emissions and odours from consumer products and contributes to global sustainability efforts.
Huntsman, as a world-renowned amine catalyst manufacturer with more than 50 years of experience in urethane chemicals, expects the brownfield facility to expand its global capabilities and provide greater flexibility for the metalworking, polyurethane and electronics industries.
