The Kraftszer Ltd as main contractor got order in April 2004 for the designing, purchasing, constructing and commissioning of the Heating Power plant.
Scope of supply:
As main contractor our task was the designing, purchasing, building, constructing and commissioning of the Heating Power plant as follows:
- Designing the basic concept and technology (P&I, arrangement)
- Full scale basic an detailed designing, acustical designing
- Arhitecture with main and sub facilities
- Electrical system 20 kV and 0,4kV
- Control technology
- Production, shipping, installation
- Commissioning, test run
- Documentation, education
- Operation
The main of the power plant are the 3 db gas engine-generator unit with 6060 kW electrical and 5595 kW (60°/ 90°C heat step) thermal output. The produced electricity was added to the 20 kV network of ELMÜ, the thermal power to the existing district heating system. The operation of the Power plant is fully automatic. Special demands:
There are residential area and office buildings beside the Power plant. Because of this, we had to keep 40 dB(A) noise level at the building site. This meant expanded noise reducing demand for the building, the ventilation system and the coolers on the roof.
